Samsung confirms the 5G version of Galaxy S10

With the arrival of the first 5G network deployments starting this year, Samsung confirmed on Wednesday (20) during its Unpacked event that will launch a 5G version of the new Galaxy S10.

The model will be temporarily sold exclusively by the Verizon phone operator and will be released in the “first half of 2019”. According to Samsung (via The Verge ), the device is capable of downloading an entire season of a series in “minutes.”

The Galaxy S10 5G will have a 6.7-inch AMOLED display, larger than the 6.4-inch Galaxy S10 Plus.

Under the hood, the device will have 256 GB of internal storage, but will not have memory expandable by microSD card. The model also has 8 GB of RAM and a battery of 4,500 mAh.

In addition to the three rear cameras, as well as other Galaxy S10 models, the S10 5G has a further pair of 3D cameras, one front, and one rear, focused on augmented reality applications.
