Bioware Does Not Fear For Its future

Bioware Does Not Fear For Its future

With their new IP ‘Anthem’ is currently the possibly second commercial failure for developers Bioware in a row, after ‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ could not quite meet the expectations.

Now, some people seem to fear the end of Bioware, as publisher EA often does not think twice about chopping down unsuccessful studios. Producer Mike Gamble, however, counters that and assures that there is still a lot of work to do and great support for the future.

On Twitter, Gamble writes :

“Do not worry about us. We have a lot to do, and you are not the only one who likes Anthem. […] Many people play Anthem and we have announced our live service plans . Do not worry, we’ll get great support. “

What support Bioware means by that is unclear – that of EA? that of the fans? Ultimately, however, it must always be considered realistically that behind all the fun at work there is a business that has to pay off in the end. Bioware does not work for free either.
