Ghost Recon: Wildlands – Full Details Of Special Operation 4
Ubisoft today announced details of Special Operation 4 in ‘Ghost Recon: Wildlands’, which will be launched tomorrow, Wednesday. The update will include the brand new PvE Guerilla mode, the new PvP class pioneer, and a few features that the fanbase really wanted.
The guerrilla mode adds a unique challenge to the PvE experience of the game, putting players’ stamina, skills and tactics to the test. Alone or with up to four Ghosts, players must defend key locations against increasingly deadly waves of antitrust and Unidad members. After each completed wave, they have the opportunity to buy and upgrade weapons, skills, and equipment with resources gained in battle. Every decision will be important and the strategy will be crucial to master the challenge.
In addition to the guerrilla mode, Special Operation 4 will include a lot of new content focused on the Ghost War PvP:
- A New PvP Class: The Pioneer is a new support class equipped with a drone firing explosive mines. These mines deprive players of endurance and slow them down.
- Two new PvP cards
- Two new PvP events :
- Weapon Race: Players spawn only with their pistols and are forced to explore the map for better weapons.
- Danger Zone: Players are regularly bombarded with ultrasound bangs, forcing them to keep moving.
In keeping with previous Year 2 updates, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will continue to receive features and enhancements requested by the community, including setting the solo campaign mode time of day, a new bleeding notification in Ghost War, expanding the PvE by the compass HUD option and the introduction of daily campaign challenges with increased rewards. In addition, Special Operation 4 will add a new heatmap view, allowing players to see the most visited wildland locations and discover some that they may never have seen before.
The Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 Pass offers seven days of early access to the new Ghost War class and, tomorrow, the exclusive Active Service Package. All other players will be able to access the new PvP class on March 6th.
