When it comes to more unusual racing, you’ll often find it at Big Ben, which today announced another of these rarities with the ‘FIA European Truck Racing Championship’.
According to Big Big, FIA European Truck Racing Championship promises a new experience for fans of racing games as well as fans of truck simulations. The taming of an over-powered 5-tonne companion is different from driving a race car or motorcycle: a particular challenge that requires a lot of skill and practice.
A FIA ETRC race in this game includes twelve cars competing against each other in four sprints over 45 km each. Special overtaking techniques and the physical characteristics of the bulk of the vehicle create a new racing experience. In addition, special penalties and a manual 200-liter water supply cool the brakes to prevent overheating and premature departure for extra thrill.
“We are excited about the quality and the many details of the official race simulator of the FIA ETRC. Design and production make Bigben all honor. The techniques used by the players in this exciting, instructive and detailed software reflect the true driver – on the road as well as the racetrack. It shows how clever and focused you really need to be to master such a big vehicle. We are looking forward to the release of FIA European Truck Racing Championship for several formats this July, and we are sure that thousands of ETRC fans will love the title and the new challenge. Undoubtedly, the title will be the reason why there are thousands of new truck heroes worldwide, “said Georg Fuchs, Head of ETRA.
With the increasing popularity of these spectacular races among fans and the media, this attention is now being paid to their own game. The races of the mechanical monsters now take place on the most famous routes in Europe – such as Le Mans, Nürburgring, Misano and Hungaroring.
FIA European Truck Racing Championship will be released in July 2019.
