Titanfall 3 Paused, Apex Legends Is Now The Priority

Titanfall 3

Apex Legends is not in a good time and, based on the words of the CEO of Respawn Entertainment Vince Zampella, the main problem is that the developers did not expect this success and were not ready to support a game-as-a-service as they would due . The goal of the team, now, is to communicate better with the fans and give them new content (but without pretending the impossible from itself, unlike Fortnite and Epic ).

We know, for example, that the second season will include a new weapon, a new Legend and a second Battle Pass, in addition to changes to the current map, certainly one of the most anticipated elements by fans. It’s good news, but there’s also a negative side . ” In order to support Apex Legends,”  says Respawn, ” we have decided to delay our plans for future Titanfall games. No resources from the Apex Legends team will be moved to other titles in development at the studio. We will not even take away resources from the group that is working on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

We already knew, in fact, that the works on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order would in no way limit those of Apex Legends , as the teams are completely separate. Respawn’s statements are not a real announcement of a Titanfall 3 referral, since it has not yet been announced, but in essence it is stated that the saga will be paused until a date to be defined: third chapter or less, the fans won’t be happy.

For now, therefore, we must “settle” for the seasonal innovations of Apex Legends and, if we are looking for something single-player, the date to be marked on the calendar is November 15, 2019: Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order has not yet unveiled all your cards, but we will probably be able to discover something new at E3 2019 (here all the dates and times ). Tell us, what do you think of the current situation of Respawn Entertainment?
