Death Stranding is one of the kind of game that raises high expectations, although we do not really know much yet – not least because game director Hideo Kojima enjoys a certain degree of trust through his previous works. In about one month, however, he wanted to divulge new information about the nebulous project.
Last week, Kojima and actor Norman Reedus, who lent his face and voice to the protagonist in Death Stranding, attended the Tribeca Film Festival in New York to talk about the game ( we reported ). We did not learn much new stuff – Kojima wants to make up for that by saying: At the end of the panel he apologizes for not being able to reveal his project and announces that he would do it “in a month or so”,
In terms of time, that would make sense: From June 11 to 13, this year’s E3 will take place. We already know that Sony (and thus also Kojima Productions) will not be present at the fair this year. It would be conceivable, however, that during the same period, Sony will be hosting the next edition of its in-house video series State of Play to unveil new information and projects.
The fans are waiting for release dates of the previously announced games – especially Death Stranding, The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tshushima. Maybe there will be some light in the near future. We will definitely keep you up to date.
