Shenmue 3 – Players Can Not Ask for the Money Back and Settled the Controversy

Shenmue 3

The community of supporters who contributed to the development of Shenmue 3 is annoyed by the revelation of the exclusivity Epic Games Store for the PC version.

During the PC Gaming Show, Deep Silver and Ys Net introduced the latest trailer for Shenmue 3, the long-awaited return of the legendary Yu Suzuki series that for many years ran the risk of not being finished.

At the end of the trailer, in a very subtle way, Ys Net and Deep Silver inserted the Epic Games Store logo rather than Steam logo – suggesting some kind of exclusivity right away.

Fans were confused and had to turn to the Shenmue 3 page on the Kickstarter to find out more.

The confirmation of exclusivity Epic Games Store in the PC version left the community angry because he feels that this last-minute decision not to your benefit and did not like the way your communication has been managed.

As you might expect, many have decided to ask for their money back and as you can see on the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter page, Ys Net and Deep Silver are informing supporters that they will not return the money.

Comments continue to multiply every hour and negative reactions became even more intense when they discovered that the request to get the money back would not be accepted.

Ys Net has confirmed that the Epic Games Store exclusivity is temporary and that Shenmue 3 will eventually arrive at Valve’s digital store, but neither did it soothe the community.

Through official and even unofficial media, fans of Shenmue who waited for the PC version of the third game feel cheated and believe that not returning the money is even worse than the announcement of the EGS exclusivity.

Shenmue 3 will arrive on November 19.
