In a recent report to investors and analysts, Capcom says it has hired “approximately 700 development staff in five years.”
“In addition, to support multi-platform, we are working to improve the development system by preparing a development environment in which large-scale development can be performed by a large number of people using our own development engine. ”
The Japanese company seems to have a clear vision of what it plans to do on the next generation of consoles: to continue to use the game engine it has used in games like Resident Evil 2 remake and Devil May Cry 5, highly praised by their visuals, in projects of Big scale.
