Project Awakening Trailer Is In-Engine Gameplay And Not A Cutscene


Kenichiro Takaki, known as the creator of the sultry and controversial series Senran Kagura, left Marvelous and headed for Cygames, which is currently developing three games for consoles.

Project Awakening, Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Granblue Fantasy: Versus are the three main Cygames projects that have already been announced, and Takaki will be involved in some way in all of them.

As revealed by Weekly Famitsu, through Gematsu, Takaki has already started his work on Cygames and will be producing in Project Awakening, while watching the teams in the two Granblue Fantasy games with tips.

Since April 1, 2019, Takaki has taken the lead in the Cygames Console Games Division and the company’s goal is to become one of the world’s best-known companies.

A sample of this intention is the trailer for Project Awakening, which you can see below, now confirmed as gameplay to run on a PlayStation 4 and not a cutscene.
