Avengers: Endgame, the Writers on That Scene with Black Widow That Is Not There

When making a film like Avengers: Endgame many ideas are discarded and, some sequences, are cut off, inevitably. We have already read about so many archived ideas, like the one with the severed head of Captain America, today we are talking about an eliminated sequence.

One of the deleted scenes in almost all Trailer Avengers: Endgame but almost absent in the film version is the one that sees our Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow of Scarlett Johansson shoot inside the headquarters of the Avengers and train.

Screenwriters Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely talk about it in a new interview, stating that, unfortunately, we missed many similar sequences: “Literally, you didn’t miss any dialogue but lots of sequences with Natasha living alone, almost like a hermit, in the Avengers headquarters before Scott Lang appeared “.

“It was an interesting thing because he was training, almost without a purpose” the two continue during the interview “He wanted to remain a hero, he didn’t care about anything else, a behavior to admire but also very sad since the battle was over “In the end, there was not much more in these sequences than we already saw in the one where he talks to others in holograms and starts crying. But we liked to spend some time with her in the film.”

Now the character will return in a prequel, Black Widow, due out next year and producer Victoria Alonso is hoping to be one of the best Marvel Studios productions.
