Two Hollywood stars have further enriched the scene of Hobbs & Shaw, Fast & Furious’s spin-off film, starring two heavyweights from action cinema and the franchise with Vin Diesel, like Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, in this case, absolute protagonists of an exciting adventure full of action sequences.
The cameos in question are those of Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart; Reynolds has already worked with director David Leitch in Deadpool 2, while Kevin Hart shared the Jumanji set – Welcome to the jungle with Dwayne Johnson.
A surprising revelation their presence in the cast, since they had not been announced in the project.
Hobbs & Shaw already contains a rich parterre of stars, with Idris Elba in the role of the villain, Vanessa Kirby was chosen for a central character in the narrative, and Helen Mirren who once again plays the role of Deckard Shaw’s mother. It seems that Keanu Reeves also appears in the film, although nothing has been confirmed about it. The roles of Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart can be described as rather extended cameos.
Reynolds plays a CIA agent, who has a previous connection with Johnson’s character; apparently, Reynolds’ character recruits Hobbs to team up with Shaw. Kevin Hart is instead an Air Marshall that tries to establish peace between the two and is at the same time eager to join the team. For the moment, however, Universal has not officially confirmed the presence of Ryan Reynolds in the cast.
Meanwhile, the film reached 72% on Rotten Tomatoes while recently a black and white poster of the film was released.
