The Tenet Trailer Was Shown in Secret During the Preview of Hobbs & Shaw

Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) team up and face off in "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw," directed by David Leitch.

It is surprising that it is not surprising that Christopher Nolan chose to surprise the unsuspecting spectators of Hobbs & Shaw to show the first images of Tenet, his new mysterious project.

Last night, during a public preview in the US of the Fast & Furious spin-off with Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, the first, very short teaser for the long-awaited feature film suddenly appeared on the screen: according to the testimony of those present, the movie only lasts forty seconds and shows a close-up of John David Washington, with the only other clue provided by a tagline that reads ” it’s time for a new protagonist “.

That the film has something to do with the exchange of bodies? At this point everything is worth, given that there is no information on the plot except that it will be (or rather should) be set in the world of international espionage, with the film described as a great action with a stratospheric budget (about $250 million, the highest of the filmmaker’s entire career).

Furthermore, the word “tenet”, besides being a palindrome, can be translated as “dogma”, or “canon”, or “principle”.

What feelings does the tagline give you? What do you think the story will talk about, based on these very few clues?

Waiting for the online debut of the teaser, let’s discuss it in the comments.

We remind you that the film will be released in less than a year, 17 July 2020, will be shot in Imax and will feature in the cast Elizabeth Debicki, Robert Pattinson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Kenneth Branagh, Clémence Poésy, Dimple Kapadia and Michael Caine.
