Fortnite: the new 10.10 patch transforms department stores into trade, introduced updates for BRUTO

As we had anticipated this morning, Epic Games announced a maintenance period for its popular Fortnite ahead of the new 10.10 patch.

Now, thanks to the notes of the patch on the official website of the game, we can discover the main innovations introduced with the update.

First of all, Retail Row: ” a new Slit Zone has brought the Big Megazzini back to the time of Retail Row, and prices have fallen. But where prices fall, dangers increase: balances thirsting for sales are being generated in the Slit Zone, and they want the center commercial everything for them “.

As for the Timed Mode, we find Corsa del mondo: ” dive, dodge and lower yourself to avoid treacherous traps, stretches of lava and more to become the best runner in the world. 16 players compete to complete the course. The first team wins which collect 30 coins! “.

Interesting news also for BRUTO, the mech at the center of some recent controversies, which can be used in Creative mode.

Updates for BRUTO include:

  • Added a pointing laser that appears when players load and fire missiles. (In addition to the gunner of BRUTUS, this laser is visible to opponents and companions. This allows players to know where the gunner is aiming the rockets before they are fired.
  • Improved audio and graphic feedback during the self-destruct sequence.
  • Now it is possible to get on a BRUTUS directly from the hang gliding mode.
  • Updated the BRUTO generation logic for large team generation modes (I BRUTO will now be generated intermittently during the game rather than waiting for the end of the Storm phases).
  • The BRUTUS abandoned in the Storm will now self-destruct after 30 seconds.
  • The BRUTUS will reappear on the minimap after 15 seconds if there are no players in either place.

Furthermore, some bug fixes have been made:

  • Fixed an issue where the BRUTUS opponents were sometimes not visible.
  • It is no longer possible to use BRUTUS to cross the map faster than expected.
  • The rotation speed of the BRUTO turret no longer depends on the framerate.
