The awards season is in full swing!

The 2020 Golden Globes nominations will be announced shortly. If there are already a number of favorites, other films not yet released on the screens are yet expected to be selected. The highly anticipated remake of Cats, Scandal, The Daughters of Dr. March and Star Wars: Skywalker’s ascent is not yet in the dark rooms, but the buzz around them is already huge.

Do not worry, some of your future favorite movies could still very well win prizes in 2020. The eligibility period for all nominations is the calendar year, from January 1 to December 31, which means that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has already seen the movies. Their possible nominations are sure to inflate their buzz. Since most of them will be released in the United States at the end of December, some of them in France, you will have time to see some nominated films before the big ceremony.

The Golden Globes 2020 are already talking a lot about them. English comedian Ricky Gervais will again present the ceremony filled with Hollywood stars, and he promised he would give everything. When we know that this will be his last time as a master of ceremonies, we can expect it to sparkle.

“Once again, they made me an offer that I could not refuse,” said the author of The Office to explain his return to the Golden Globes. “But it’s really the last time I do that, so the night is going to be nice.”

The 77th edition of the Golden Globes will be broadcast on the night of January 5 to 6, 2020 on Canal +.
