The Rolling Stones announce it’s participation in the festival will be led by Lady Gaga


The band joins the likes of Paul McCartney and Elton John, at an event to raise money to help the fight against the coronavirus

The band, the Rolling Stones, the attraction of a confirmed on the the festival charity, “One World: Together at Homethat will take place this Saturday (the 18th). Led by Lady Gaga, the event aims to raise money for the health care professionals who are involved in fighting the coronavirus.

The announcement was made on Instagram by the Rolling Stones. “We are honored to be invited to be a part of the transmission of the One World: Together at the Home of one of our houses by itself. A fantastic event with the Global Citizen in the fight against the COVID -19,” said the band in a statement.

In addition to the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Joe Armstrong (lead singer of the band Green Day), Burna-Boy, Chris Martin (vocalist of Coldplay), Eddie Vedder (lead vocalist with Pearl Jam), J. Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, melbourne, Maluma, and Stevie Wonder will take part in the festival.

The event, which will begin on the partr of the 9 at the time, in Brazil, is going to go on the channel Globo, Multishow, MTV, Comedy Central and Paramount Channel, the addition of digital platforms such as Globoplay, Amazon Prime Video, Facebook, Instagram, Tidal, TuneIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
