    A vaccination center in a bistro, a first in France

    This experience is the result of a collaboration between the owner of the café, based in the Fives district, the adjacent pharmacy and the neighboring health center. “I see a lot of unvaccinated people go by, especially because they are afraid,” explains Fabienne Plouvier.

    The idea is to gain the confidence of people reluctant to the vaccine thanks to the notoriety of the bar in the neighborhood. “Here, we have a better chance of touching them”, assures the shopkeeper. At a time when the ephemeral vaccination centers are closing one after the other to make way for the usual activity, the initiative has been well received. Even if it took three months to obtain the approval of the Regional Health Agency.


    First session, Saturday morning from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., without appointment. A doctor and two nurses will replace the bartender. One dose at a time.
