L’Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS is renewing its collaboration with Aguttes to sell cars from its heritage. A rare opportunity to afford atypical or new original copies.

It has been several years since the Peugeot Citroën DS Adventure, which manages the automotive heritage of the brands of the PSA group, got into the habit of selling some of its treasures to finance restoration campaigns or other purchases. For this, it chose a partner, the Maison Aguttes, with which it notably carried out the sale of the Citroën Centenary in 2019. On September 19, a new sale was organized in Aulnay-sous-Bois, where the Citroën Conservatory. Sixty-seven vehicles will be on offer, including examples belonging to private collectors. These are exclusively Peugeot and Citroën models, some of which are perfectly unique. This is obviously the case for the Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi which finished tenth in the Dakar 2019 with Sébastien Loeb at the wheel. This rally raid beast, equipped with a 350 hp V6 Turbo Diesel and 800 Nm of torque driving the rear wheels, has been completely reconditioned and can be entered again in the race (estimated between 600,000 and 700,000 euros).

    Peugeot 3008 DKR Maxi Ex-Sébastien Loeb. 2017. Estimate: 600,000 – 700,000 euros.

    New 2CV Charleston

The sale also includes some very low mileage vehicles, which are attracting increasing interest nowadays. Let us quote the two 2CV Charleston from 1990, one Gris Cormoran and the other Rouge Delage, with respectively 9 and 18 km on the clock. A similar copy obtained last August 120,000 euros during a sale organized by Aguttes. Less sought after but just as attractive Citroëns will also be offered, like a 5CV from 1923 (3000 – 6000 euros) or a tractor produced during the brand’s first year of existence in 1919 (25,000 – 35,000 euros). Peugeot enthusiasts will no doubt be drawn to the Peugeot 505 SXD seven-seater station wagon from 1992, one of the last products with only 100 km (10,000 – 15,000 euros) or even by the nicely restored 402 sedan from 1937 (10,000 – 15,000 euros). Undoubtedly one of the most significant sales of the fall.
